I have been chasing storms for over 20 years.I have been trained in the NWS Skywarn program.I also love to forecast the weather...
The making of a storm chaser.First off you can't be afraid of severe thunderstorms,however you have to have the highest respect for severe thunderstorms,if you don't you could end up dead my friend.A storm chaser should be able to forecast the weather,if you don't know how 9 chances out of 10 you will pick the wrong target area..That means a BUST...
You have to be willing to drive/ride for hours,and then sometimes sit for hours..Storm chasing can be very lonely at times,other times you may run into many other chasers...
Besides chasing storms I love to fish both summer and ice fishing,I like to look for agates,Hiking,and swimming.I also enjoy taken pictures...I'm trying to break into  freelance photography,maybe some day it will happen..But for the time being I did started a new job that I love.
